Our tips keep you from getting lost and give you that daily direction for building a better facebook page that’s rich with content and more responsive readers.  – JAX

Think about what benefits your Brand
How do we improve passion behind our brand: Avoiding a break in the chain.

The passion of the company founders for their brand is typically transferred to their employees and thus the customer. This energy must be transferred daily through each persons actions and constancy. But with that said, if any person in that company chain isn’t carrying the energy forward, that will cause a break in the chain. I will go through more on this in later discussions, but first here are 3 initial steps to building a stronger brand awareness.

1)   Memorability: making a lasting impression is one of the most important things that drives a brand. Presenting memorable moments, presentations, and product. How do we make our brand more memorable to the employees and the people who shop with us.

  1. Framework for a strong foundation: by laying a strong foundation down, a positive brand will be able to radiate outward in the daily activities of the employees as they sell the products.
  2. Material reminders: pieces of media, business cards, letter head, brochures.
  3. Social Events: gatherings of employees, customers and new people to introduce the brand and allow them to share and experience the company’s energy in a social atmosphere.
  4. Brand memorability: is the product memorable? What can you do to make it more memorable? Advertising?

2)   Perceived value: The value that the customer feels they are getting from doing business with your company is very important. If either the seller or the customer feels that the product is not worth the price or it doesn’t offer value for the purchase, your entire brand will be affected.

  1. Make sure that you research your market constantly to align your products with your competitors.
  2. List everything that makes your product unique and different from products or services that are similar

3)   Familiarity: Making your brand a familiar piece of everyone’s every day life, isn’t always possible but it’s important to strive to make your brand important within your own sub niche. Keep these concepts in mind.

  1. The more you are seen by someone, the more familiar you become to them.
  2. People who have never done business with you, will most likely do business with you once they become familiar with your brand.
  3. A recommendation from your client is the best way to get a new customer familiar with your brand products and services.
  4. Advertising is so important to becoming more familiar within your sub niche. Ads on local buses, news, blogs, social media, physical printed reminders are all great ways of reminding people about you and what you do.

Marketing Tip of the day: Framework for Creating a Stronger Internal Business Brand

Jacqueline-Jax-ShowDid you join us on facebook.com/AvALiveRadio yet? Maybe it’s time you joined the page so you won’t miss out on our conversations. Monday through Friday we give you daily social media marketing inspiration. Our tips keep you from getting lost and give you that daily direction for building a better facebook page that’s rich with content and more responsive readers.  – JAX

Marketing Tip of the day: Framework for Creating a Stronger Internal Business Brand

Step 1: DEFINE
Define what makes your organization unique, and what values you represent. Define the target audience for your products or services and gain an understanding of what this audience needs from your organization.

Step 2 : VALUE
Define the value you are delivering to your customers; what business problems do you hope to solve with your product or services? Identify any gaps between what is truly valuable to your customers and how you internally define your brand.

Step 3: TEST THE EXPERIENCE
Expand your focus group to include a range of customers, business partners and other important colleges. How does their experience with your company differ from your brand definition? Or is it consistent?

Step 4: STRATEGY
Most importantly identify gaps between how you define your brand and your business strategy. Is there a close alignment between what you believe your organizations represents and what will ultimately help achieve revenue. Check your quality. If you champion a particular element of your brand but don’t relay that consistently, then you would notice a gap between your brand and busin

Step 5: FRAMEWORK
Developing a simple brand framework will help you clearly articulate what your business strategy is striving to achieve. A creative team can work with the company employees to develop this framework and identify all the opportunities that your brand can be communicated through creative design and application.

Notes: Engaging the brand and relaying the experience: Do the employees relay the company brand to the customer through their actions, performance and daily connections?

Marketing Tip of The Day: SEO Keys to Keywords

20130405-085414.jpg

I know you’ve heard it before but search engine optimization is important. When you are trying to drive traffic to a website, the best and cheapest way to do so is through search engine traffic. Paying someone to do the work for you, isn’t a bad idea but that still won’t guarantee results. It all depends on finding the right keywords that will not only attract the right clients to your company or brand but will also be keywords that people are searching for.
Keywords and keyword phrases are the terms readers are entering into search engines, such as Google to find things.

Here are some quick Tips, that with help you to use SEO keywords to get traffic to your website.

1) Use Google Keywords : Google has a Keyword Tool called “sktool” which allows you to search keywords and see how many people are looking for particular topics, and how competitive the keywords are. (Try it here)

2) Write content on your website that utilizes the selected SEO keywords liberally. You want to use the keywords often in your writing, while not changing the meaning of the content or having it read unnaturally. You should include the SEO keywords at least twice per paragraph but be careful not to spam the same ones over and over.

3) Add the SEO keywords into other areas of your website. Not only should the SEO keywords be in your written content, but it should be in the titles, meta titles, meta descriptions, image descriptions, link tags and anywhere else you can showcase your keywords. So the next time your saving a photo, use your name and keywords in the title.

4) Keep an eye on which SEO keywords are driving traffic to your website. After a while, you can figure out which SEO keywords you should concentrate on and which ones aren’t worth the time and effort by checking your website or blog stats.

Marketing Tip of the Day: Improve Your Act Now Call To Action

20130401-200530.jpg
Are you disappointed in your sales? Are you seeing web traffic on your page but finding it hard to get people to signup for your list?
So many people forget to tell prospects exactly what they should do while on their web site. As surprising as that seems, you should never assume the fan/buyer/reader will know what they are to do once you get them there. Testing has proven time and time again that, to get someone to respond, they must be told exactly what to do and when to do it. Take a look at your call to action page and see if it gives specific instructions. Use word combos like: download now, call now, email now, click here now, signup now, subscribe now… Etc.

Take a look at our “Join Us Now!” at the top right hand corner of our web site over the subscribe bottom field. Just by adding those 3 little words, we make it easy for our readers to find our signup and encouraging for you to do so while your here.

Do you have any tips that have improved your call-to-action? What are you offering people if they signup to follow you? What is your over all goal? Leave me a comment below so I can check out your page…

Marketing Tip of the Day: Contact Made Easy

20130207-084014.jpg

Marketing Tip of the Day : Contact Made Easy
Have you ever spent time searching a web site for quick contact info and found nothing but a facebook or twitter page link? It’s frustrating! Today I’m urging you to take a fresh look at your web site for easily accessible contact info. People will NOT trust you if they do not know who you are. Always have your name and contact info on every one of your web pages. Even if its just an email address or a link to a contact form. I like to also include my social connections so my readers can pick their social poison. It would be especially smart to write an “About Us/Me” page on your web site or blog. Remember, just because you have a web page it doesn’t give you instant credibility. If you really want to be accessible, post up a picture of yourself. We all know a picture is always a good idea especially on your daily posts where people are reading your point of view. And finally think about creating a Privacy Policy page, if your selling things or asking for opinion polls so your visitors feel secure, which will only add to that trust.

Marketing Tip of the Day: Web Friendly Websites

Marketing Tip of the Day: Web Friendly Websites

No matter what the goal of your business’ website, personal blog or music site is, good design is essential to attracting viewers and keeping them interested. When designing your site, be sure to use clear navigation, avoid bright neon colors that disappear on white making it hard to read, and keep information clear, distinctive and short. Every word counts so you’ll want your text filled with rich key words that make sense without over stating your point. Since indexing web crawlers don’t recognize images, use only important images and make sure they are tagged in their saved titles. If you help your customers get what they want without overwhelming them, you will succeed in creative a web site where buyers and readers will be back for more.

Want to see a great web site rich in key words, tagged photos and content? Check out my personal page at www.JacquelineJax.com ; this month charting a hefty 37,000+ total page views on the site.

Marketing Tip of the Day: Start an Email Campaign, Forget the Bells and Whistles

Jacqueline_Jax_branding_success

Marketing Tip of the day: Forget the bells and whistles
In today’s world, people are carrying around their email with them via smart phones, iPads and tablets. So you need to consider that reality when designing your email marketing campaigns. Instead of image cluttered multi-column layouts, keep it simple with a single scrolling design with one photo and a call to action that’s visible within first glance of the page. Be consistent and keep in mind that the average response to any email is 1% . If your doing better than that, then you have just written yourself a highly engaging and successful email so chart your results and keep up the great work.
